Have you heard the news?
There’s a gluten free & food allergy conference coming up in Indianapolis, and I’m attending as a blogger! With it being just over two weeks away (August 23 & 24), I thought I’d share five great reasons you should join me there.
1. Keynote Speaker: Dr. Tom O’Bryan
Dr. Tom O’Bryan, from www.thedr.com will be the keynote speaker.
Ever since attending The Gluten Summit in 2013, I developed a deep appreciation for the passion that Dr. O’Bryan shares to promote wellness for his patients, followers, and listeners. I share that same passion and a mission of wellness for you, and I’m excited at the opportunity to hear Dr. O’Bryan present in person!
During the conference, on both Saturday and Sunday, Dr. O’Bryan will be discussing a topic near and dear to my heart: “From Autism to Alzheimer’s – Why a Gluten Free Diet is Not Enough.” Any parent struggling to find solutions for their autistic child will acquire helpful information through this presentation.
2. Discover New Resources
Who doesn’t love to try new gluten-free foods, and discover resources to make their gluten free lifestyle a little simpler?
There will be several of my favorite companies there, including Enjoy Life Foods, Bee Free and Whole Foods. Many of them will have Paleo-friendly foods as well (grain free, soy free…GGF approved)!
After reading other reviews about this conference, held earlier this year at multiple locations, it’s clear that the free samples and show specials are amazing . I don’t know about you, but to me, that alone makes the trip very worthwhile!
3. Living Gluten Free – Perspective from Foodies and Moms
There will be multiple cooking demonstrations and discussions during both days of the conference.
From tips on how to make your own energy bars to learning more about how to eat out safely, the demonstrations will offer valuable tips and secrets that can save you time, money, and teach you some new recipes! See the full demonstration schedule here.
4. Basics and Advanced Information
The speaker schedule includes a wide range of helpful topics.
From getting started on a gluten free journey, to how hormones are affected by gluten exposure, you can learn something that applies to your wellness journey. Several speakers will be sharing their expertise; you can choose which ones are best for you! Full schedule at this link.
